Weichert Realtors Press Release
Weichert, Realtors® Holds Innovative "It Pays to Ask" Training for Company Sales Associates
4/2/2008
MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. - Weichert, Realtors®, one of the
nation’s largest privately-held real estate companies, recently conducted a three-day
training seminar, designed to help strengthen sales associate’s ability to
provide the best results possible for their clients while ensuring a successful
year personally in the current real estate market. The three-day informative training sessions
were held at the Tyson’s Westpark Best Western and the Holiday Inn in College Park throughout
the month of March.
The
training sessions, attended by over 400 local Weichert sales associates and
managers, were offered in conjunction with the company’s recent launch of the
"It Pays to Ask" campaign. The
“It Pays to Ask” campaign strives to let consumers know that it is normal to
have questions about real estate and beneficial to ask these questions.
In the same
way, the Weichert training event stressed to its sales associates the
importance of asking valuable questions such as: “How can I help my sellers
price their home most effectively?”; “How can I help my buyers understand ‘now’
is the time to buy?”; and “How can I keep my business on track in today’s
market?”
“Each
session was geared towards providing tips, tools, and creative solutions for
the real estate challenges that sale associates face on a daily basis.” said
Valerie Huffman, regional vice president for Weichert, Realtors. “This campaign is another example of the way
Weichert works to provide its sales associate with ongoing and cutting edge
training so that they can in turn provide exceptional service to their
clients.”
During the
first session, sales associates were given a variety of proactive tips on the
best ways to help sellers effectively get their homes off the market. The
session’s highlights included a lecture entitled “Six Hot Tips for Pricing”
presented by senior vice president of Weichert, Realtors, Jacé Botti and an
exceptional presentation on the value of Internet and print media marketing by
regional vice president, Jim Fizzano.
The second
session outlined best practices designed for sales associates to help buyers
find their dream home. Steve Adamo, president of Weichert Financial Services
gave an overview of the local and national real estate market and shared new
products Weichert Financial Services provides to help buyers in the current
market. Anthony Carr, manager of
Weichert’s Burke office, offered a presentation entitled “Have We Hit Bottom
Yet” providing sales associates the resources to educate their buyers on
effective purchasing strategies.
The
training seminar ended with two days of round table discussions regarding key
issues of today’s dynamic real estate market.
Sales associates had the opportunity to learn from experienced Weichert
professionals on successful way to keep their real estate business on
track. Some topics included “Good
Business Management,” “Pricing it Right from the Start,” and “Staging,
Photography, & Visual Tours.”
